Rules Subcommittee Meeting

The Administrative Rules Subcommittee of the Arkansas legislature will meet at 9 am, Thursday, December 19 in Room A of the Big MAC building adjacent to the state capitol. The agenda and supporting documents can be found here.

Of note is that the agenda includes discussion of both the Department of Energy and Environment's Regulation 6 and the Department of Agriculture's version of Regulation 5, both of which include provisions for a permanent moratorium prohibiting any future permits for swine CAFOs in the Buffalo National River watershed.
