Please join us for the quarterly Buffalo River Conservation Committee meeting on November 30 at 11:00 a.m. The meeting will be held at the Veteran's Memorial Hall in Marshall, AR. The address is 108 Noah Horton Memorial Dr., Marshall, AR 72650.
We will have a virtual option for those that cannot attend in person and the Zoom link (see below) will be sent out shortly in a separate invite.
This meeting will cover updates on projects and any other items that may need to be discussed.
Also, the Searcy County Chamber of Commerce would like to invite everyone to a special viewing of the Buffalo River Historic Jail Museum in downtown Marshall immediately following the committee meeting. This jail is a great tourism addition to the Buffalo River Watershed and has been funded with a combination of federal, state, and private funds. They would love to show the committee what they have been working on for many years to accomplish. This is a 1902 old county jail, and the Grand Opening will be on Friday, December 3.
We look forward to seeing everyone in Marshall!
Please don't hesitate to let us know if you have any questions or if we can assist in any way.
Respectfully,
Autumn Causey
