At its meeting on October 25, 2019, the Arkansas Pollution Control and Ecology Commission voted to reopen the public comment for APC&EC Regulation 5—the Commission’s Liquid Animal Waste Management Rule—and APC&EC Regulation 6—the Commission’s State Administration of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Rule—in order to receive comments on the proposed amendments to both regulations. The deadline for submitting written comments on the proposed amendments to Regulation 5 and Regulation 6 is 4:30 p.m. (CST) January 22, 2020. APC&EC authority for proposed amendments to Regulation 5 and 6 can be found in Arkansas Code Annotated §§ 8-6-207(b) (1) and 8-4-202(a).
