Clean It Up, Tyson Campaign Kick-Off Meeting
Tuesday September 19, 7:00-8:00pm
Unitarian Universalist Fellowship
901 W Cleveland St., Fayetteville, AR
Refreshments provided
Each week, more water pollution comes from the industrial agricultural sector in the US than from the BP oil spill. Most of this comes from the corn and soy grown to feed livestock.
Tyson Foods is the largest meat company in the US and one of the biggest buyers of animal feed. Their policies shape the entire meat industry. We can significantly reduce water pollution in this country if Tyson commits to buying only animal feed that improves and maintains soil health, diversifies crops, reduces fertilizer use, and conserves natural lands.
