Drilling Report To Be Released

Independent Drilling Final Results Announcement

NORTH LITTLE ROCK – The Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) will receive the results of the C&H Hog Farms Drilling Study from Harbor Environmental on December 1. Harbor will present the results of the fieldwork and laboratory analysis to ADEQ in a briefing at ADEQ Headquarters on the same day, December 1, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. This briefing will be open to the public.

ADEQ Director Becky Keogh issued the following statement:

“We look forward to receiving the results of the drilling study. We have invited Harbor to present its findings in a public venue so all interested parties will receive the data and report at the same time. I am pleased that the report has been completed a month ahead of schedule, while conforming to rigorous quality controls and assurances inherit in an independent-scientific review.”

Following the briefing, an electronic version of the report will be available on the Drilling Study webpage at https://www.adeq.state.ar.us/water/bbri/c-and-h/drilling.aspx. In addition, field notes, photographs, and videos taken by Harbor during the fieldwork will be made available on the webpage.
