"Floatest" On The Buffalo

Ozark River Stewards Action Alert

The Buffalo River is depending on you! Saturday, July 2nd, 2016 Ozark River Stewards invites participants to meet at Grinder's Ferry to launch another protest float or "Floatest" to continue to call attention to the safety and health of the Buffalo. They will figure out shuttles and aim to launch around 9:00 am. Some participants will be camping on the gravel bar there at the Hwy. 65 bridge. Pack a lunch and help show the river some love while keeping other floaters informed of the threats facing our country's first National River. What better way to celebrate Independence Day? In case of rain, the floatest will launch on July 3rd.
