Profits and Pork Chops or Pollution

Join two-time Pulitzer Prize finalist Mike Masterson, for 14 years a columnist with the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, to discuss the deeply controversial hog factory that Arkansas quietly and quickly allowed to set up in the pristine Buffalo National River watershed and the events surrounding that 2012 decision. What impact does the raw waste generated by 6,500 swine have on karst- fractured subsurface that permeate the Ozarks and likely on the country’s first National River.
