♦The Buffalo River Watershed Alliance and the Ozark River Stewards invite you to join them for an informative presentation that will cover recent developments in the joint, multi-pronged efforts to protect and preserve our country's first National River.
♦Speakers will bring the public up to date on the scientific, legal and legislative aspects of these efforts: ● Van Brahana, UA Emeritus Professor, Geosciences● Chuck Bitting, National Park Service● Victor Roland, USGS/ UA●Dane Schumacher, Buffalo River Watershed Alliance●Anna Weeks, Environmental Policy Associate, Arkansas Public Policy Panel.
♦Representatives of the Buffalo River Watershed Alliance, the Ozark River Stewards, Ozark Society, Arkansas Canoe Club and the National Park Conservation Association will be on hand.
