Beautiful Buffalo River Action Committee Meeting Scheduled

NORTH LITTLE ROCK - The Beautiful Buffalo River Action Committee (BBRAC) will meet at the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) on May 16, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. The meeting will take place in the ADEQ Headquarters Commission Room located at 5301 Northshore Drive in North Little Rock.

BBRAC was established by Governor Asa Hutchinson in 2016 in order to develop an Arkansas-led, non-regulatory approach to identify opportunities in the Buffalo River Watershed. The Arkansas Department of Health, Arkansas Agriculture Department, Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism, Arkansas Natural Resources Commission, and ADEQ are the state agencies that comprise the committee. 

The second quarterly BBRAC meeting will host public and private presentations on potential actions to maintain and enhance the vitality of the Buffalo River Watershed.
